My boys love Hot Wheels and all of the crazy tracks they have on their website games. They created some of their own cool tracks. I just love how these pictures showcase our fabulous circa 1970 rec. room carpet.

The Pond is BACK!!!! 12 March 2011
Every Spring we get a seasonal pond in our front yard. This year it is HUGE because of all of the snow we got this Winter. The kids love to play in it every day after school.

Happy Birthday to my sweet little Jason (who is finally wearing 5T clothes!)
Jason's breakfast in bed is much simpler to prepare, thanks to his, uh, food preferences.
Jason opted for the large gift instead of a birthday party this year. He got a Nintendo DSi XL, and couldn't be more thrilled with it.
He's such a hoot!
Here is the chip that Jason found during dinner (his chip buffet birthday dinner, which is better than the sugar cereal buffet he chose last year) that he said looks like the Continental US. It's not too far off!

Miles turned 10! I can't believe I have 2 boys in the double digits now!

Miles came up with this handwaving/blowing routine to blow out his candles. It made everyone laugh and laugh, so he did it many times. It worked everytime.
In the Pokemon world, kids receive their first Pokemon on their 10th birthday. This is Miles with his Treeko. Then they go off on a journey to become Pokemon trainers, but I think we'll skip that part.
Miles at his birthday party. Above, he is opening a box of Capri Suns that turned out to be Mario Kart game for DS from 3 of his friends. Below, he is obviously happy about it.
