West Hartford Children's Museum

I was supposed to start actually blogging when I set up a blog, so I'm going to back track a bit. In January I took all 5 kids to the West Hartford Children's Museum on my own. My first outing without Shayne after having a baby is always a monmentous event for me. Thankfully, we survived. My secret: only go to children's museums on teacher work days. There were only 2 other groups of kids in the entire place!

Jason ALWAYS wants to go to the museum with the jeep. He LIVES for sitting behind the wheel of this thing.



Dallin wants to be a meteoroligist, so he thought this was pretty cool.

Marin's 9 Month Pictures

I had SO much fun getting pictures done with Marin. She'll be 10 months on Sunday, but since everyone else has 9 month pictures, she had to get hers too. Now I can FINALLY get all of my babies up on the wall. Marin is our first baby out of graduate school, so it was especially fun to have her pictures done somewhere besides Wal-Mart!

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with Marin's hair. It's a bit. . . um. . . unmanagable at times.

So, right after I start this blog thing, my camera promptly breaks (which really isn't it's fault. You try getting thrown from about 10 times your height by a 5 year-old and see how you feel!) We finally have a new one, so hopefully I'll be better about this blog thing (because I find blog posts without photos a tad bit dull.)

Just a Couple Things

These are just a couple of cute pictures. Marin is getting so much bigger. I take a million pictures of her all the time because I don't want to miss anything. I think Miles was getting a little jealous of the "photo shoots" I do with Marin, so I took a few close-up shots of him too. I don't think he was very thrilled. The last picture is of me and some of the kids after the Hartford Marathon. No, I did not run the marathon, just a 5.6 mile leg on a relay team. It was a lot of fun to be a part of it, though, and it makes me want to run even more.

It's That Time of Year Again

Fall means apples, and the boys love to pick them. Unfortunately, Shayne was trying to meet a deadline, so, lucky me, I got to take them all by myself! All of them picked apples until their bags overflowed, so luckily I had given Jason and Asher really small bags (or we would have a lot of odd looking apples!) Oh, and Miles was there too, I just didn't get him in any pictures.
